Andriyivskyy Descent is the shortest path that connects the upper part of Kiev and its central part with the trade Hem (720 meters). There are many institutions, and every day trade in art objects and souvenirs.

St. Andrew’s Descent or as it is also called Kiev Montmartre is a street-museum, one of the main tourist attractions. Many famous figures of science and culture lived and worked here: scientists, writers, composers, artists, sculptors.

On the street there is the Museum of the same street, the Museum of the writer Mikhail Bulgakov (Turbins’ House), the monument to Prone Prokopovna and Golokhvastov (the film “For Two Hares”), the memorial house-museum Kavaleridze, the Kokorevskaya arbor, the Podol Theater, the Wheel Theater and the Castle “Richard the Lionheart” (Ghost House).
