Kamchatka is a peninsula in the north-eastern part of Eurasia in Russia. It is washed from the west by the Sea of ​​Okhotsk, from the east by the Bering Sea and the Pacific Ocean.

Among the attractions here you can highlight volcanoes. In total, Kamchatka has more than 300 volcanoes. The largest active volcanoes on the peninsula – Shiveluch, Klyuchevskaya, Ichinskaya, Koryakskaya, Avachinskaya, Karymskaya and Kronotskaya hills.

A significant part of the territory of the Kamchatka Peninsula is reserved for specially protected areas: state reserves, natural parks, reserves, nature monuments, sanatorium-resort areas and some other types of protected areas.
