Located in Russia.
Bataysk is a city of regional subordination in the Rostov region of Russia. Forms the municipality “City of Bataysk” with the status of the city district. The city of Bataysk is located 15 km south-east of the city of Rostov-on-Don.
In the western and northern parts of the city flows the river Small Coisug. On the right side of the bypass road M-4 is located Salty Lake (former Bataila hydrocarrier).
