Tivoli is a city in the Italian region of Lazio (province of Rome), on the Anio River, 24 km north-east of Rome. The main attractions are the ancient Roman Villa of Hadrian, the castle of Pope Pius II, the famous Villa d’Este and the Gregorian Villa.
