Located in France.

The Roger-Quilliot art museum (MaRQ) is located in Clermont-Ferrand (in the Montferrand district) in part of the buildings of a former Ursuline convent built in the 17th century. This building is classified as a historical monument. The museum opened in 1992 as the Museum of Fine Arts and was renamed after a former mayor of Clermont-Ferrand.
The museum building has been transformed by architects Claude Gaillard and Adrien Fainsilber. The various rooms are arranged on three levels around a central atrium surmounted by a glass roof designed by engineer Peter Rice.
On a surface of 6,000 m2, the museum has nearly 2,000 works from a period that goes from the Middle Ages to the twentieth century. It also has spaces for temporary exhibitions, usually in connection with works of the museum or for the reception of contemporary artists.
A documentation center is on the top floor of the museum.
