L’Oceanogràfic is an oceanarium located in the east of Valencia, Spain. On an area of about 110,000 m², representatives of various marine species are kept. It belongs to a complex of buildings known as the City of Arts and Sciences. Europe’s largest oceanarium.
The park is divided into ten zones. In the marine zones, the inhabitants of the Mediterranean, the polar oceans of the Arctic, islands, tropical seas, seas of temperate climates and the Red Sea are represented. In addition to these, the park has a dolphinarium, an auditorium with a Red Sea aquarium, a mangrove and swamp area, and a garden with over 80 species of various plants.
