Located in China (PRC).

Yangtzé is the longest and high-water river of Eurasia, the third river in the world in full and in length. It flows through the territory of China, has a length of about 6300 km. It flows into the East China Sea.

Some sections of the river are currently protected as reserves. The Yangtze area in western Yunnan Province, where the river flows through deep gorges, is part of the Three Parallel Rivers National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
