The Tianmen Mountain is a mountain located in China, in the north-west of Hunan Province, in the Tianmen Mountain National Park.
You can climb the mountain by cable car; you can sit on it near the nearest railway station Zhangjiajie. The Tianmen cable car is often referred to in tourist guides as “the longest alpine cable car in the world.” It consists of 98 cars, its total length is 7455 m, the height difference is 1279 meters, and the steepest lifting angle is 37 °. Tourists can also walk along the cliff, where in some places there is a “glass path”. The road with the 99 bends passes next to the Heavenly Gate cave of Mount Tianmen and reaches the top of the mountain.
