Monaco (Principality of Monaco) is a small state located in the south of Europe on the shores of the Ligurian Sea; on land it borders on France. It is one of the smallest and most densely populated countries in the world. The principality is widely known for its casino in Monte Carlo and the stage of the Formula 1 championship held here – the Monaco Grand Prix.
