Tossa de Mar is a small resort town on the Costa Brava, 90 kilometers north of Barcelona.
Main attractions: beaches, an old center, a small fortress, which was once built to protect against pirate raids.
In the 18-19 centuries, the town was known as the main producer of cork, which was used to cork expensive wines.
