Great Belt Bridge

Great Belt Bridge is suspension bridge in Denmark, the third in the world in the length of the span. Crosses the same strait and connects the islands of Funun and Zealand. It was built in the period from 1988 to 1998. After the bridge was built, the time between the islands was reduced by more than an hour, and passenger and freight traffic between the eastern and western parts of Denmark increased significantly. It was opened on June 14, 1998.
