La Mauricie National Park

La Mauricie National Park is a national park of Canada, located in the Morisi region of the Canadian province of Quebec.

There are 150 lakes and many other bodies of water on the territory of the park. The area of the park is 536 km².

The park is located in the Eastern mixed forests ecoregion, so both coniferous and deciduous trees grow here. The park is home to black bears, moose, beavers, otters, wolves and red foxes.

The park is named after the Saint Maurice River, a tributary of which, the Matawin River, flows along the western and northern borders of the park.
